Nasrul Hamid received Spain’s highest civilian award

    Spain’s highest civilian award ‘Commitment to the Number of the Civil Merit Order’ received State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid. King Philip VI of the Republic of Spain awarded the title to the state minister for an unprecedented contribution to the development of bilateral relations between Spain and Bangladesh.

    Spain’s ambassador to Bangladesh, Alvaro de Salas, handed over this medal to the power minister on Saturday on an honors ceremony. During the medal ceremony, the ambassador said, “The relationship between the two countries will be more friendly and through this, Spain is proud.”

    State Minister for Power, Nasrul Hamid, thanked the King and the people of Spain for various issues at different times in the UN, outside the trade unions of Bangladesh. At the same time, he said, “Bangladesh and Spain hold the same view to establish global warming, migration, refugee problem, militancy and global peace.”

    Thanking and gratitude the King of Spain for giving this medal, he said, “There are opportunities for more government-owned and non-governmental organizations to work in electricity and energy sectors.”
