Prime Minister’s ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy inaugurated the service at Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
This inauguration ceremony was held in the Prime Minister’s Office today.
Another hotline 333 (Triple Three) was added to get government information services in the country. After 999, 333 services were launched to reach the doorstep of people with the motto ‘Information and service always’.
Newspaper from Dhaka The Daily Star said, The service has been designed by Access to Information (a2i) Programme under of PMO with a motto of “government information and services, anytime”.
Mobile operator Robi and country’s one of the leading call center service provider Genex Infosys Ltd are providing technical assistance to operate the call centre.
Joy said while inaugurating the service, “People don’t have to come to government offices…We will reach all services to their doorsteps.”
“Our aim is to move forward fast, not slowly,” he added, the country is no more a poor country, now Bangladesh has achieved the criteria for graduation to developing nation from the status of the Least Developed Countries through proper planning and successful implementation.
He also said, “Now our target is to turn Bangladesh into a “Developed Country” by 2041. It is believed that Awami League will be able to attain it ahead of its time, if the citizens of the country keep voting Awami League.”
Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mostafa Jabbar, State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak was present to the ceremony.
