    We have several achievements on 2017. Like, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina took bold steps to build Padma bridge in the country by the World Bank when they withdrew from the funding of Bangladesh Padma Bridge. This is not only a bridge, but also a fight against the World Bank’s development philosophy led by the Western countries, and is involved in the struggle to turn around in its capacity. Padma bridge is the dream, the original pillar span of the Padma bridge of warhead was installed on 30 September. And the second span of the bridge is in December.     After the formation of government in Awami League in 2009, the Mahayangan of unprecedented development started in the communications system of Bangladesh.     UNESCO Recognition

    UNESCO’s recognition is proud for any country. Bangladesh got two such recognition in 2017. One of the speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 7th March 1971. This speech of the Father of the Nation is a unique priceless asset to the people of the world. Considering that UNESCO, the United Nations scientific body has announced this speech as part of the World Heritage.

    On October 30, UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova announced the historic speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 7, 1971, recognizing it as the most important authentic tradition in the world. This speech is also included in the list of such documents that are included in the ‘Memorial of the World International Register’.

    More strategic in NAVY

    035G class diesel-driven submarine bought from China, joined the navy of Bangladesh on March 12 of the year. On this occasion, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally commissioned two submarines ‘Nabojatra’ and ‘Joyjatra’ in Chittagong Naval Jetty inside Chittagong Isha Kha base. The navy of Bangladesh will continue to be strategic ahead of Myanmar due to submarine merger.

    Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Thailand has no submarines, But in this region, there have for India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Iran and Indonesia. This type of submarine in China can be under water for more than one month. These are the diesel electric submarines; The length of which is 76 meters, and 7.6 meters in width.

    After the submarines are added to the navy, the capacity of gourd to continue in the wide area of the Bay of Bengal is expected to increase.

    If the new gas field is not discovered then the country’s natural gas reserves will end by 2030. To tackle this situation, the government has decided to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) from abroad. The government wants to import LNG by 2018. Of these, the government has a contract with US-based company Ecclerate in 2016. But this year the agreement was signed with the Summit, Reliance, Hong Kong, Shanghai Manjala. These institutions will collectively import 500 million cubic feet LNG. Meanwhile, the Summit will start importing LNG from October 2016. There will be some improvement in the severe gas crisis when LNG import starts in the country.

    They defeated to India with 1-0. Unprecedented champion, without any goals in the competition, Bangladesh girls clear under-15 women’s football tournament. In the second match of the league after winning the Nepal (6-0), they won 3-0 against Bhutan. Bangladesh defeated India 3-0 in the last match of the league.

    Bangladesh will be floating in light

    Electricity generation in the country was around 400 MW in 1972. Now the maximum power generation is 9500 MW. And power capacity exceeded 15 thousand megawatts.     Apart from this, the work of Matarbari Viddhutkendra has started as part of the Tk 34 billion crore project for Japan funding in Moheshkhali of Cox’s Bazar. One thousand 200 MW electricity will come from this center. Besides, the government has signed agreement with Siemens of Germany to set up the largest power plant in the country of 3600 MW in Patuakhali.
