Two cricketers, Shahid Afridi from Pakistan and Gautam Gambhir from India, have been involved in a social media dispute with the Kashmir issue between India and Pakistan.

Former Pakistan captain Afridi tweeted Tuesday: “Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence.

In reply, former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir tweeted, “Afridi’s dictionary is incomprehensible.

Former Pakistan captain Afridi tweeted Tuesday

Tensions between Pakistan and India for the past 60 years have been ongoing and the two countries have fought twice over this.

Three Indian soldiers and 13 suspected militants were killed in gunfight in India-controlled Kashmir’s Srinagar last Sunday. After this, four civilians were killed and at least 200 injured in protests and clashes.

Gambhir replied about Afridi’s tweet within 3 hours!

Afridi and Gambhir started the war, only after this incident – when Afridi called India and the ‘oppressive ruling circle’ and urged the United Nations to intervene in India-controlled Kashmir.

Afridi writes, Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence. Wonder where is the @UN & other int bodies & why aren’t they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?

Gautam Gambhir, after rejecting Afridi’s assessment of the situation in Kashmir, wrote, “Media called me for reaction on @SAfridiOfficial tweet on OUR Kashmir & @UN. What’s there to say? Afridi is only looking for @UN which in his retarded dictionary means “UNDER NINTEEN” his age bracket. Media can relax, @SAfridiOfficial is celebrating a dismissal off a no- ball!!!”

In response, Afridi tweeted another picture – so that he was seen with Indian cricket fans.
