Honey Based Hair Masks

A hair that lacks moisture degrades very easily, and its appearance is not a pleasant one. If you notice split ends, then it’s time to prepare some masks to hydrate and to give shine to your hair. One effective mask is made from a teaspoon of honey, 2 egg yolks, 2 tablespoons of olive oil or coconut oil. Mix all ingredients and let them act on your moistened hair for about 20 minutes, then rinse and wash well. Eggs are a good source of protein and lecithin, vitamins and minerals, which help repair damaged hair. Honey is very beneficial for scalp health and olive oil is rich in vitamins A and E that help moisturize the hair. If you want to stimulate hair growth, add a few drops of rosemary oil or castor oil.
