All pretty much taste the same to me. Some are more dry, some are more wet. The watery kinds can be great for smoothies. The more dry is better for baking. I wasn't sure what to expect with this brand because all the reviews had me thinking I would open a can of watery mess.Opened the can, it looked.. moist. Not watery. The watery kinds look like pumpkin puree and water blended together. This has a deep color, very very smooth texture, and the puree is dense. Any liquid is clearly just pumpkin "juice". It is THE BEST pumpkin I have had. WHY IS IT SO GOOD???? I have had other organic brands too. It might come down to what kind of pumpkin is used? This is AMAZING. Like, i can eat it by the spoonful plain, amazing. Farmers Market Organic Pumpkin is by far our favorite available in the marketplace. Having previously purchased the  Farmer's Market Organic Pumpkin Puree, 15 Ounce (Pack of 12)  which is packaged in paper, I was reluctant to get this variety in cans, but chose a case due to the cost difference. To my delight, the cans are produced with a BPA free liner, they are labeled as Non GMO, and the pumpkin is as terrific in not better. The case I received has an expiration date of 19 months from today, so I know the cans are fresh. Being shipped in frustration free packaging, the carton was sturdy, secure, and was easy to open with all cans intact and perfectly labeled. The cans are easy to open if you have a can opener. Because I give my Shih Tzu a spoonful of pumpkin each morning for digestive issues, I typically remove the pumpkin from a can and freeze a portion so that it remains fresh until the first refrigerated container has been consumed. When using the pumpkin for baking or cooking where the entire 15 ounces are used, I eliminate this step and just use the pumpkin straight from the can. If ever the pumpkin appears to have separated with liquid floating as occurred with some previous packages I'd purchased, I simply stir it before using and find the pumpkin still to be excellent.
PS I find that the frozen containers definitely separate, however once they are stirred, they become more appealing. The dog loves it stirred or not, she doesn't differentiate and licks the plate any way it's presented.

I'm assuming that most people who buy pumpkin by the case are buying it for their dogs. If that is the case for you - know that you'll want to strain it through a tea towel because it's quite runny. Once strained, it works great in kongs and licky mats.

I like the product, but too pricey. Also, I keep getting this, although I do not have a subscription on it. I have repeatedly tried to unsubscribe, but they keep sending it. I now have four boxes, and cannot get them to quit sending this product. I'm going to have to contact Amazon and see if they can resolve this issue.
